Malhausi is fairly close (90 km West) to Kanpur in North Central India. Our Solar Engineer, Nandita, a 25 year old young woman, trained the men from different regions. Full DC system, 4 CFL lights ( three 7 Watt, one 11 Watt), 40 W solar module, 60 AH 12 Volt battery, I took the photos. It was about 47 C (approx. 117 F), and the smell of the chicken poop for about 5 hours was a bit much.
